1) I often paint in front of an audience— either live or on YouTube.

2) I tend to paint LARGE— 8 x 10- feet is common.

3) I paint with TWO HANDS.

4) I usually paint in a tux . . .or at least half a tux.

5) My paintings start out in Acrylics, then transition to Oil.

6) I do a complete abstract painting under every realistic painting.

7) I call my style “Abstract Realism.”

   (Unless I’m doing a REAL realism, or a purely abstract painting.)

8) I painted cityscapes more than anything, but NOW mostly PORTRAITS.

9) I’ve painted Raleigh, NC more than anybody ever.
